Last Updated: effective date
legal entity name, doing business as Oinkbound ("Oinkbound," "we," "our," or "us"), respects the privacy of the people who use our websites and services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we disclose and sell it to, and the choices you have. It covers personal information we collect:
- on this website, Oinkbound domain, and on every consumer website we own or operate that links to this Privacy Policy, including pickhealthadvisor.com (Pick Health Advisor) (together, the "Sites");
- on phone calls with us, including calls answered or placed by our AI voice agent;
- from licensed insurance agents and other business contacts who work with us or create an account with us; and
- in our other business dealings, online or offline.
Together we call these our "Services." Throughout this Privacy Policy, "personal information" means information that identifies you, relates to you, or could reasonably be linked to you, directly or indirectly.
The most important thing to know is how we make our living. Oinkbound is a lead generator: when you submit a request on one of our Sites, we sell that request to one licensed insurance agent, who pays us for it and then contacts you about health insurance. We sell each request to one agent only, not to a list of agencies. We are not an insurance company, and we do not sell insurance ourselves.
Residents of some states have additional rights, explained in our State Privacy Notice and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. To ask us not to sell your information, or to make any other privacy request, see Your Privacy Choices.
Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information in three ways: (1) from you, when you fill in a form, call us or write to us; (2) automatically, when your browser or device connects to our Sites; and (3) in limited cases, from other people and businesses. The details are below.
Information you give us
When you use our Sites or talk to us, you may give us the following categories of personal information:
- Contact information, such as your first and last name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code.
- Details of your coverage request, such as your date of birth, gender, household size, household income range, employment status, the kind of coverage you are looking for, and when you want coverage to begin. Some Sites also ask whether you have used tobacco in the past six months, a standard insurance rating question. We do not ask that question of residents of Washington, Nevada or Connecticut (see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy).
- Optional coverage preferences you choose to give after you submit a request, such as yes-or-no answers to whether you have doctors you want in a plan's network, prescriptions you want covered, or another household member who needs coverage. We do not ask which doctor or medicine, or about any condition, diagnosis or treatment. We do not show these questions to residents of Washington, Nevada or Connecticut.
- Your consent record, meaning the exact wording of the consent shown next to the button you clicked, the words on that button, the phone number the consent covers, the page you were on, and the date and time.
- Correspondence and call recordings, including emails you send us, and recordings and transcripts of phone calls with us, including calls with our AI voice agent. Every call we record begins with a notice that it is being recorded.
- Preferences, such as your preferred language, and any request you make to stop calls or emails.
- Anything else you choose to tell us, for example in a message to our support address.
We never ask for your Social Security number, bank account or card details, insurance policy or member numbers, or your medical history on our Sites. Please do not send them to us. If an insurance company later needs medical or financial information, the licensed agent collects it directly from you.
If you give us information about another person, for example a household member who needs coverage, you must have their permission to do so.
You must be 18 or older to submit a request on our Sites.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our Sites, the companies that host them receive the technical details that every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the page you asked for, the page that referred you, and the date and time. Those details are kept in the hosting provider's server logs. We use them to run, secure and troubleshoot the Sites. We do not use your IP address to work out where you are: when a Site needs your state, it takes it from the ZIP code you type.
Our Sites store some information in your own browser's local storage, not in cookies, so they work properly. This includes your language and display settings, your answers while you move between questions (so a refresh does not wipe them), and, after you submit, a short receipt that lets you see or cancel your request from the same browser. Unfinished answers are deleted after 7 days, when you submit, or when you start over. This information stays on your device until you submit, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Analytics. Our Sites do not currently use analytics or tracking tools such as Google Analytics. if an analytics tool is added, name it here, describe what it collects, and link its opt-out before it goes live.
Interest-based advertising. We advertise on social media and search platforms, and many visitors reach our Sites from an ad. Our Sites do not currently run any advertising platform's pixel, tag or measurement tool, so we do not share what you do on our Sites with those platforms for targeted advertising. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and Your Privacy Choices before the tool goes live.
Session recording. Our Sites do not use tools that record your mouse movements, clicks or keystrokes, or replay your visit.
AI voice agents and call recording
When you call a number shown on one of our Sites, an AI voice agent may answer. We may also call you, using an AI voice agent or a live person, to confirm your request and connect you with a licensed agent. An AI voice agent is software that speaks and listens like a person; it is not a person and it is not a licensed insurance agent. It follows a script and can only collect your request, answer basic questions about how our service works, and transfer your call. It cannot quote prices, tell you whether you qualify for a plan, or describe a specific plan's benefits. You can ask to speak with a person at any time.
We record these calls and keep transcripts. We use recordings and transcripts to capture your request accurately, to keep proof of your consent and of any request to stop calling, for quality and training, and to prevent fraud. Please do not share Social Security numbers, payment details or medical history on these calls. Our voice and phone service providers process call audio on our behalf. name the voice and telephony providers in use, for example ElevenLabs for the inbound voice agent.
Information from other sources
Today, almost everything we hold about a consumer comes directly from that consumer. We do not buy consumer lists or data from data brokers or other lead sellers. We may receive limited information from others, such as:
- the licensed agent who received your request, who may tell us whether they reached you or that a phone number did not work, for billing and quality purposes;
- our service providers, for example a phone provider that tells us a call did not connect; and
- advertising platforms, which may tell us which ad you clicked, without identifying you to us.
update this section if Oinkbound ever buys leads, appends data, or receives information from partners.
Information about licensed agents and business contacts
If you are a licensed insurance agent or other business contact, we collect information you give us to work with you, such as your name, agency, business email and phone, National Producer Number (NPN), the states you are licensed in, the products you sell, your account login details, your lead preferences, and records of the requests you bought. We may verify your license information against public records such as the National Insurance Producer Registry. We do not store payment card or bank details on our systems; payments are handled by payment processor, or "invoice". If you appear on a consumer Site as the agent assigned to a request, the information shown there is described in our Agent Terms of Use.
Combining information
We may combine the information you give us with information we collect automatically or receive from the sources above, for example to connect a phone call to the request you submitted online. We treat the combined information under this Privacy Policy.

- One licensed insurance agent, who buys your request. When you submit a request, we sell it, meaning your contact information, the details of your request, any optional coverage preferences, and your consent record, to one licensed insurance agent licensed in your state, who uses it to contact you about health insurance. We do not sell the same request to anyone else. Before an agent can buy from us, they must agree in writing to use your request only to contact you about insurance, not to resell or share it, and to follow telemarketing and privacy laws. Attorney review this promise is true only once the lead purchase agreement is signed. Once the agent has your request, their own privacy notice also applies to what they do with it. Ask us and we will tell you the name of the agent who received your request. The current list of agents who may receive requests is on our Participating Agents page.
- Service providers that run our Sites and systems on our behalf, such as website hosting, our database, the phone and AI voice systems that place and answer our calls, email delivery, and the scheduling tool an agent may use to book a call with you. They may use your information only to provide their service to us. current vendor list, for example Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database).
