Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
You are viewing this page from . is a consumer website operated by Oinkbound, and this page applies to it.
Last Updated: effective date
This policy covers consumer health data on Oinkbound domain and the consumer websites Oinkbound operates, including pickhealthadvisor.com. It is written for residents of Washington (My Health My Data Act), Nevada (Senate Bill 370) and Connecticut, whose laws protect personal information that identifies a person's past, present or future physical or mental health, and we apply it to everyone. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
What We Collect
We do not ask about health conditions, diagnoses, treatments, medications, disabilities, or reproductive or sexual health. We do not use precise location data. We do not use your request to identify or infer anything about your health.
Only two things our sites may ask could say something about physical health:
- Tobacco use in the past six months, a standard insurance rating question; and
- the optional coverage preference questions after you submit a request, which include yes-or-no questions about whether you have doctors you want in a plan's network and prescriptions you want covered.
If your ZIP code is in Washington, Nevada or Connecticut, our sites ask neither. In other states they may be asked, and your answers are included in the request sold to the agent, as our Privacy Policy explains. Attorney review whether tobacco use, these yes-or-no answers, or the fact of seeking health insurance is "consumer health data" under these laws.
Why We Collect It, Where It Comes From, and Who Receives It
Everything we hold comes from you, through our request forms and phone calls. We use it to connect you with a licensed insurance agent about the coverage you asked for. It goes to the one agent who buys your request and to the service providers that run our sites and phone systems (hosting, database, phone and AI voice, and scheduling). We have no affiliates that receive it.
We Do Not Sell Consumer Health Data
If we ever wanted to sell consumer health data, we would first ask you for the separate, signed authorization your state's law requires. We do not.
Your Rights
- Confirm and access: whether we hold consumer health data about you, a copy of it, and the names of every third party it went to.
- Withdraw consent to our collecting or sharing it.
- Delete it, including from backups, and we pass the request on to anyone we shared it with.
- Appeal a refused request, and complain to your state attorney general if we deny the appeal.
Email privacy email address or use Your Privacy Choices. We answer within 45 days, which we may extend once by another 45 days where the law allows, and we will tell you if we need to. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
